DTU has attracted many applicants with excellent High School Graduation Exam (HSGE) grades in recent years. In 2021-2022, Nguyen Cong Duy from the Phan Boi Chau High School in Khanh Hoa, who scored 25.75/30 and Huynh Thi Uyen My, with 25.2/30, chose to study at DTU.

Truong Minh Xuan Tung is the Monitor of the K25 EDC PNU class and Vice-Secretary of the Mechanical Engineering Union and has also been learning diligently how to build a smart robot.
