DTU Wins the 2021 Seed for Change Contest

On December 12, after competing for more than one month, the CPR Heroes team from the DTU Faculty of Medicine were proclaimed winners of the 2021 Seed for Change 2021 contest, with their paper: “CPR and out-of-hospital survival rates”. Second and third prizes went to teams which also included students from the same faculty.
DTU Student Wins Third prize at the 2021 Tour Guide Competition

On December 16, the Tour Guide Competition finals were held by the Da Nang Department of Tourism at the Minh Toan Galaxy hotel, with 74 participants from 12 universities, in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang. One First, two Second, two Third, eight Consolation prizes and three sub-prizes were awarded. DTU Hospitality & Tourism students won one Third and 5 Consolation prizes.
Foreign DTU Student Wins Grand prize at GLEC 2021

Frances Summer Dale V. Dy, a DTU second-year student from the Philippines, won the Grand Prize at the 2021 Global Leadership English Challenge, (GLEC Vietnam), with her presentation on “Post-Pandemic Recovery”, one of the topics included in the United Nations (UN) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) lists.
Sharing Experiences Teaching Japanese

On December 14, DTU and Sanyo Gakuen University (SGU) held a series of seminars entitled: “Sharing experiences teaching Japanese”. Attendees included Professor Chie Yamane, a representative of Sanyo Gakuen University, Dr. Le Vinh An, Director of the Vietnam-Japan Institute for Strategic Cooperation (VJISC), Vietnamese students from the SGU Faculty of Languages, DTU VJISC, DTU LTC and the DTU Faculty of Japanese Language.
The B.A. Team Wins a Consolation Prize at the 2021 Innovative Startup Ideas Contest

Sixty innovative start-up projects in various fields were submitted, including topics involving production, business, services, agriculture, environmental protection and solutions for climate change in the new normal, with ten of them advancing to the finals on December 11, when finalists presented their projects and answered questions from the jury.

The 2021 Online Student Talent competition was launched in September by the DTU Faculty of Architecture & Applied Arts, and enabled participants to demonstrate their talents and meanwhile remain fully motivated during the pandemic.
