BINH DAC HA

OVERVIEW


Dac-Binh Ha received the B.S. degree in Radio Technique, the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information System from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China in 1997, 2006, and 2009, respectively. He is currently the Dean of Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Duy Tan University, Da Nang, Vietnam. During 1997- 2001, he worked for Center of Telecom Technology, Vietnam. From 2001 to 2003, he joined the Faculty of Electrical - Electronics Telecommunications Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, Vietnam. He is the recipient of the Chinese Government Distinguished International Students Scholarship. His research interests are secrecy physical layer communications, MIMO systems, combining techniques, cooperative communications, cognitive radio, RF energy harvesting networks and image processing. He was the recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 2014 IEEE International Conference on Computing, Management and Telecommunications. He has published several papers on ISI index journals, such as IEICE Transactions, Journal of Communications and Network, Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, IETE Journal of Research, Elektronika ir Elektrotechnika, Wireless Personal Communications (WPC) Journal, IET Communications, Mobile Networks and Applications, IEEE Access. He is principal investigator of two projects supported by Vietnam’s National Foundation for Science and Technology Development.
